About the event
Join us for a fun day of taking steps for research at the DNA Dash 5K on September, 13th! Whether you're a runner, walker, or just love a good cause, this event is for YOU. All proceeds will go to support rare disease research.

Race starts at 10:00 am
If you can't make the race and still want to participate, sign up for the virtual race and we will mail your race shirt! Run your virtual race any time. Cost is the same as the in-person event and includes shipping within the US. There are no awards for the virtual event, however you can enter your results after you complete your run/walk if you wish.

Founded by parents of a child with IRF2BPL-Related Disorder, Tough Genes is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge and medical understanding of the IRF2BPL gene. Our mission is based upon raising awareness and funds for IRF2BPL-Related Disorder research. We strive to transform lives by driving breakthroughs in science, increasing awareness, and securing the resources necessary to find treatment and improve the quality of life for those impacted by this disorder.
